The Goines Agency was grown from an aspiration of wanting more. More for clients in the industry, more for our community— education and prevention, but mostly, more for family and a burning passion to help others. In 2017, Alexis brought together a team with like-minded individuals to begin this journey, offering the best service and education when it comes to protection.

“I’ve always carried a special place in my heart for fortitude and the power in taking control of your life—teaching others how to do the same for themselves and continue to strive towards growth. After obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Human Services in 2014, I found myself working for the DHS. Headed toward a social work career path, quite different, I know! The thing is, my husband was a young military soldier and I had been working in insurance for several years prior, while pursuing my degree. After leaving that field and working for the government; experiencing first hand, the red tape, burn-out and incredibly sad situations managed in extremely high-volume. I quickly came to realize that I wouldn’t be able to offer the life that I aspired for my family nor the level of impact within the community that I desired. Just a year into it, I got an incredible offer in the insurance space and I decided to go back into the field with the whole-hearted intent to educate people and help protect families from the devastation that catastrophe can bring to a family, if unprepared. Now, here we are seventeen years in the insurance business— and eight years into establishment of my own business. I’m so proud to have built a place that’s focused on being impactful, offering practical advice to get the best protection at the most affordable cost, protecting the financial well-being others and the opportunity to give back to the community we’ve chosen to make home. It’s a special feeling!”
